Beyond the Cross

Easter 2020 is one that we won’t forget. And yet, we will make it through this. We’ll get beyond it.

As we think about Easter and Christ’s redeeming work on the cross, we must embrace Jesus and His sacrifice.

But we also must go beyond the cross and celebrate the resurrection. We must celebrate the empty tomb.

Our hope lies beyond the cross and beyond the grave.

Several years ago I wrote a song with Robert Sterling entitled Beyond The Cross.

"Beyond the cross, beyond the grave, there is a hope for those Christ came to save. He bled and died. He paid the cost to free us from the chains of death to give us life beyond the cross."
