“The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger.”
Job 17:9 NKJV
God can speak to us using all kinds of ways. A few weeks ago, I checked into my hotel in Florida. When I stepped into the bathroom of my room, I saw the message. The wrapper on the bar of soap said, “Start your Big Day with clean hands.”
The verse from the book of Job is an interesting one. One would typically expect that eating well or exercising would make one stronger, but the scripture infers that clean hands are a source of strength.
When I’m working around the house or in the yard, it’s almost impossible not to get my hands or clothes dirty. It just happens. It’s part of life. Things we encounter in our daily lives leave a residue. The safest way to start a new day is to clean up, take some quiet time to get centered and start the day fresh.
As the message on the bar of soap says, “Start your Big Day with clean hands.”
